The firm of Buel CPA, P.C. provides governmental auditing services to several Housing Authorities and Non-Profit Organizations throughout New York and Connecticut. These audits are generally “Single Audits” in accordance with The OMB Uniform Guidance where the authority is provided with federal financial assistance from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and/or the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Development. We also provide “Yellow Book” audits for smaller organizations with federal assistance of less than $750,000, which is not as inclusive as an OMB Uniform Guidance. We have performed audits in Connecticut in accordance with the Department of Economic and Community Development and/or the State Single Audit Act for entities receiving over $300,000 in state financial assistance. Patrick Buel has been performing such audits as an employee/partner/owner since 1995. As an employee/partner, he has completed Housing Authority audits in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Patrick Buel has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry in various internal and external accounting capacities. He has also worked on-site operating construction equipment and performing labor tasks.
